SMITHTOWN, NY — Heading to a local pumpkin patch this fall may look a little different due to coronavirus, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have a great time with family and friends.

Thankfully, coronavirus has only changed — not completely closed — your favorite pumpkin patch and its offerings this season. Below is a list of some of our favorite pumpkin patches near Smithtown.

Name: BB & GG Farm and Nursery
Address: 625 Route 25A, St. James
Season opening/closing dates: Sept. 26 through Oct. 31
Attractions: Pick-your-own pumpkins, hay rides, roasted corn and more.
Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Pricing: N/A, but listed as "$$" on Facebook

Name: Benner's Farm
Address: 56 Gnarled Hollow Road, East Setauket
Season opening/closing dates: Oct. 3 through Oct. 31 every weekend.
Attractions: Book a private tour of farm on the website, including a viewing of the animals. A tractor will take you to pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch will be open to visitation, but this option won't include seeing the animals.
Hours: 10:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.
Pricing: Up to five people for $60. For groups larger than five, five more people can be added for an additional $10 fee each. Pumpkins are .60 cents per pound; there's no admission fee to get into the pumpkin patch. Tractor rides around the pumpkin patch are available for $5 per person.

Address: 1500 E. Jericho Turnpike, Huntington
Season opening/closing dates: Now through Oct. 31
Attractions: Pumpkin picking, children's corn maze and wagon ride around the farm.
Hours: Weekends and Columbus Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on weekdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment.
Pricing: Pumpkins are priced by size, averaging $5 to $20 according to Newsday

Address: 6 Bagatelle Road, Dix Hills
Season opening/closing dates: Late September through Oct. 31
Attractions: Pumpkin picking field, hay, cornstalks, hayrides, fall flowers, animal train ride, duck races, apple cider donuts, roasted corn, apple cider, homemade candy apples and fresh-baked pie.
Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day
Pricing: No parking or entrance fee; $5 per person admittance for pumpkin patch with duck races
