SMITHTOWN, NY — The Smithtown High School East boys varsity soccer team excelled both on and off the field this season, according to a district release.

The squad earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2019-2020 academic year. Smithtown High School East joins six other boys teams from New York State and 134 across the nation in being recognized for the honor.
