Smithtown HS East Advances In National Finance Competition
The School of Business virtual enterprise class's accounting department advanced to the second round in the National Finance Competition.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Smithtown High School East students have a bright future in the world of business.
The School of Business virtual enterprise class taught by Mr. Costello had their accounting department advance to the second round in the National Finance Competition, according to the school district. The event consisted of creating financial statements and highlights for the virtual business as well as future sales projections.
This year’s company, "SeasonAll," focused on creating environmentally friendly and cost-effective lawn care devices. Their newest product includes the auto-Scape, an automatic electric lawnmower. Pictured are Smithtown High School East’s Emily Schrier and Joseph Mingione.
