Smithtown Police Blotter: 850 Pairs Of Underwear Stolen From Mall
There were two separate thefts reported at Victoria's Secret on back-to-back days, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Jan. 16: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove from Jan. 15 at 4:59 p.m. Someone stole 300 pairs of underwear from Victoria's Secret, police said.
- Jan. 14: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove at 5:58 p.m. Two people stole approximately 550 pairs of underwear from Victoria's Secret worth roughly $5,735, police said.
- Jan. 13: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Colonial Road in Smithtown from March 9, 2020, at noon. Someone received three fraudulent checks that were switched by someone else, police said.
- Jan. 11: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Terry Road in Smithtown from Jan. 8 at 3 p.m. A woman parked her 2006 Ford at a martial arts school, and when she returned, both the left and right catalytic converters were cut out of her car, police said.
