Smithtown Police Blotter: Credit & Debit Cards Stolen From Jeep

ALSO: Someone stole more than $1,000 worth of electric shavers and toothbrushes from a Smithtown CVS, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • March 13: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Coventry Lane in Nesconset from Feb. 9 at noon. Someone filed for unemployment benefits in someone else's name, police said.
  • March 13: Identity theft (second-degree) was reported on Bobann Drive from Nov. 30, 2020 at 10:20 a.m. Someone filed for unemployment benefits in someone else's name, police said.
  • March 12: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Terry Road in Smithtown from March 8 at 6 p.m. Someone stole electric shavers and toothbrushes from CVS, police said.
  • March 9: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Yarmouth Lane in Nesconset at 3 a.m. Credit, debit and gift cards were stolen out of an unlocked 2006 Jeep, police said.
