Smithtown Police Blotter: Money Stolen From Dentist's Office

Money was stolen from a lockbox at the dental office, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Feb. 10: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on East Main Street in Village of the Branch from Jan. 4 at 12:01 a.m. Someone stole money from a lockbox at The Smilist Dental Smithtown, police said.
  • Feb. 9: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Williams Boulevard in Lake Grove from Feb. 8 at 11 p.m. Someone stole tires and rims off of a 2014 BMW parked in a residential parking lot, police said.
