Smithtown Student-Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent

Student-athletes from both Smithtown high schools plan to continue their sports in college this coming fall.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Student-athletes from both Smithtown high schools are set to continue to play ball this fall, but on different teams and in a new setting.

The district held its national letter of intent signing on May 26, where 11 athletes in Smithtown High School East and three more from Smithtown High School West signed to continue their athletic journeys in college, according to a news release from the district.

Smithtown High School West:

  • Ryan Bell: Providence College, lacrosse
  • Dan Caddigan: Cornell University, lacrosse
  • Brendan Hickey: American International College, golf

  • Delaney Foster: Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, lacrosse
