Smithtown Train Station To Feature Mt. Pleasant Student's Slogan
His slogan, which will be featured on a banner at the train station, was chosen for the K-6 category.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Evan Munjal, a second-grader at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School, was named a winner in the MTA Long Island Railroad School Slogan contest, the Smithtown Central School District announced in a news release.
Evan's slogan, "Stay Alive, Stand Behind the Yellow Line," was chosen for the K through 6 grade category. He is in Mrs. Chester’s class.
The LIRR runs the contest every year to promote safety in the community.

Evan's slogan was placed on a banner that will hang in Smithtown’s train station. He was presented with a certificate and a copy of his banner during a virtual ceremony with LIRR President Phil Eng on March 26 while in class alongside his classmates and principal.
