Smithtown West Girls Soccer Maintains National Rank

SMITHTOWN, NY — The Smithtown West High School girls soccer team continues to win, as the team rattled off three more wins in a span of just six days.

On Oct. 18, the girls slipped past Centereach, 2-1. On Oct. 21 and Oct. 23, they defeated Newfield and Connetquot respectively, both by scores of 3-1. The stretch moved the team's record to 13-0-1.

However, the United Soccer Coaches poll seems to have only taken the Centereach win into account in its latest rankings, as Smithtown West is still ranked No. 11 with a listed record of 11-0-1.
