Smithtown West's Tedoldi Named to All-Division Tennis Squad

Sophomore made it to third round of county tournament this season.

Smithtown High School West sophomore tennis player Daniela Tedoldi was named to the all-division first singles girls team following the fall season.

Tedoldi earned the honor after playing in the Suffolk County tournament at Smithtown High School East on Oct. 9 and 10, where she advanced to the third round.

Tedoldi has long been a top player on her school teams. She played first singles in seventh and eighth grade at Accompsett Middle School. In ninth grade, she made the varsity team at West and played third singles. She did well enough to make it to first singles in 10th grade, supplementing her school play with training from coach Claudio Yamus at Eastern Athletic Club in Melville for the past five years.
