Suffolk's First Tim Hortons Could Come To Smithtown Mobil Station

SMITHTOWN, NY — Bolla Market, a convenience store and filling station chain, operates 150 stores in the tri-state area. The company plans to bring several Tim Hortons coffee shops to Long Island, with Seaford, opened this summer, the first. Now the company has applied for variances with the town of Smithtown to expand a location at 819 W. Jericho Tpke. Mobil gas station, to add a Tim Hortons with a drive-thru.

Bolla's chief operating officer told Newsday in July that the total number of Tim Hortons coming to Long Island could be as many as 20 in the next year and a half.

The Canadian coffee shop chain is known for breakfast items and doughnuts and has been moving toward more drive-thru locations.
