Taste of Smithtown by Smithtown East Business Honor Society
Fundraiser for Make A Wish Foundation
On Friday, March 15,2019 the Smithtown East Business Honor Society hosted the second annual "Taste of Smithtown". All proceeds of this food tasting event went to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation. The event raised close to $1300 from raffles and tastings.
To sponsor the event, thirty restaurants throughout Smithtown, St. James, and Nesconset donated trays of food to be sampled. These restaurants included: Akropolis, Alpine Bakery, Azulejo, Bahama Breeze, Carrabba's, Croxley's, Duck Donuts, Edible Arrangements, Farm to Table, Florie's Finales, Fresh Market, Garden Grill, Garguilo's Bakery, Georigo's, Husk & Vine, Little House of Heros, Luso, Maria's Mexican, Matt's Pizza, NoCo, Pietro, Premiere Pastry Shop, Rocco's Pizza and Pasta, Seaqua Deli, Sonic, Spuntino, St. James Public House, Sundried Tomato, The Trattoria, Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, Villa Sorrento, and 7-11.
Overall, the fundraising event was a success and the club looks forward to working with the community again next year! Thank you Smithtown Community for all that you do and your support!
