TracyLynn Conner a Success in FIRST DATE

Show playing at the Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts until March 26, 2016

Now being performed at the Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts until March 26, 2016 is the F&H Theatricals production of Austin Winsberg, Alan Zachery and Michael Weiner musical, FIRST DATE. It is a very enjoyable production. However what is most magnificent about this show is the emergence of Rocky Point, Long Island’s own TracyLynn Conner. Please remember this name. This actor is going on to bigger and better things sooner than later.

After spending years homing in her craft along with her booming singing voice TracyLynn has now taken her skills up to the next level. Playing, Casey, the female lead in the show, TracyLynn has now acquired the energy and skill set to carry a production and keep the audience energized. I believe it’s now time for her to bring her talent to the next level whether it is Broadway or Hollywood. Let me explain.

Over the last 5 years I have been attending various shows/plays/musicals in both Smithtown and Port Jefferson. In many of those shows TracyLynn had roles/parts/leads and although she had potential she was still evolving. That is why I was so blown away last Saturday when I watched all her hard work, dedication, and sacrifice manifest itself into a star being launched. I am predicting right here, right now; great things are in the near future for TracyLynn Conner. I have reviewed shows at East Hampton’s Guild Hall that have starred both Broadway’s and Hollywood’s stalwarts and I believe TracyLynn has now achieved that level with this show. I only hope she remembers the great words of the world’s greatest mountain climber Reinhold Messner, when he said, “In the end it is not conditioning that gets you to the top of the mountain, it is the WILL.”

After the show TracyLynn confessed that every night, “she fights back tears,” because of the emotion she has invested in this role. She is now in the sweet spot an actor reaches before their career blasts off. Go see a star launching, go see, First Date. For ticket information www.smithtownpac.org or call 631-724-3700.
