SYOSSET, NY — An Amazon warehouse could be coming to a former manufacturing site in Syosset and bring hundreds of jobs to the area, according to a report.

The online retail giant wants to build the warehouse on the former Cerro Wire site near Miller Place and Robbins Lane, Newsday reported. Joseph Saladino, the Oyster Bay town supervisor, told the newspaper the warehouse would be 200,000 square feet and be located on the southern side of the site near the Long Island Expressway.
