yesterday my girlfriends and i enjoyed a beautiful day at the wineries out on the north fork of long island. as the designated driver, i have a suggestion for the winery owners. treat your designated drivers special. they keep the roads safe. perhaps a DD small cheese and cracker sampling - perhaps a DD lemonade would be a nice offering. it would have been a small lovely gesture, and i would have felt even more special than my friends made me feel.
