Drucker Handily Beats Opponent In Democratic Primary

The incumbent beat his challenger, and will go on to run for his seat again in November.

Incumbent Nassau County Legislator Arnold Drucker easily beat his primary challenge from Lewis Yevoli, a former state assemblyman and Town of Oyster Bay supervisor.

Drucker received 1,692 votes to Yevoli's 942, allowing the new legislator to easily keep his chance to run for the 16th Legislative District again in November.

"I am humbled by the support of Nassau County’s Democrats as we continue our drumbeat of cleaning up the corruption and mess left by years of Republican neglect and abuse," Drucker said in a release. "Now, we organize to take down the corrupt machine that has wreaked havoc on taxpayer’s wallets for too long."
