Funeral Services For Frederick Ippolito Announced

The funeral services for former Town of Oyster Bay Commissioner of Planning and Development Frederick Ippolito, who died in prison on Sunday, was recently announced.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday June 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Beney Funeral Home on 79 Berry Hill Road in Syosset.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 12 starting at 9:45 a.m. at St. Edward Confessor RC Church on 205 Jackson Avenue in Syosset.

Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.

Ippolito, of Syosset, passed away at the age of 78. He was predeceased in life by his wife, Christine and his son, William.

He is survived by his children Christina (Christopher) and Cheryl (Kenneth) as well as his 5 grandchildren.
