George Martin's Syosset Restaurant Reopens

The restaurant shut down last month for renovations.

A Syosset restaurant which temporarily shut down last month to undergo renovations has officially reopened this week.

The former George Martin’s Grillfire, located on 33 Berry Hill Road, opened its doors on Wednesday as the new George Martin 1989.

The new eatery was named 1989 for the year George Korten opened his first restaurant.

On Long Island, George Martin has a 6 other restaurants, including two other Grillfires in Rockville Centre and Merrick.

The steakhouse-inspired American bistro offers a wide variety of dishes by Chef Christopher Holt including Korean BBQ Duck Tacos, Cauliflower Ravioli, Espresso Rubbed Flat Iron Steak and more.

"Timeless dining is our motto as we walk the line between modern and traditional cuisine , catering to a variety of tastes while still being focused," the restaurant's website reads.
