Just before joining Homes By Mara, Ford was a food server at Merrick Avenue Middle School in Merrick, NY, where she continues to work to date. She was also a manager at Kenneth Michaels Cleaners in Island Park before she had to stop working there to redirect her time as a caretaker for her father after he was diagnosed with cancer. Prior to her job at Merrick Avenue Middle School and her new position with Homes By Mara, she took a 14 year sabbatical from work to focus on raising her two daughters.

Ford says that her experience in being a food server at Merrick Avenue Middle School has provided her great insight in understanding the importance of addressing and meeting people’s needs. It is this hands-on perspective that has Navaretta excited to welcome Ford among her team of agents.
