Jericho Crash Leaves 7 Hurt, Including Several Kids

JERICHO, NY — Seven people — including several children — were hurt when two SUVs collided in Jericho Saturday. The crash happened around 5:20 p.m. at Brush Hollow and Cantiague Rock roads, officials said.

The Jericho Volunteer Fire Department rushed to the wreck, securing the cars and applying a speedy dry solution spilled fluids on the roadway. Jericho fire police units directed traffic at the intersection while crews worked.

Seven people were hurt and are all expected to survive. Five refused medical attention at the scene.
