The kits come with easy-to-use cooking and storage instructions, too.
The hot dog meal kits are shipped frozen with ice packs and customers are supposed to keep the fries frozen until they're ready for preparation. Importantly, customers can find instructions on cooking the perfect hot dog via Nathan's website.
James Walker, senior vice president of restaurants at Nathan’s Famous, said the past few months have proved difficult for restaurants and their customers. Many people aren't able to dine at their favorite restaurants due to closure and lack of delivery options. Nathan's, he said, wanted to explore new ways to get customers what they want, when they want it.
"We hear it almost daily from customers around the country, 'How can I get my hands on my favorite Nathan's meals,' and this partnership gives us the ability to continue to serve our U.S. customers anywhere they are," Walker said in a news release.
