Long Island Expressway Crash In Syosset Leaves 1 Hurt
Syosset and Jericho fire departments were sent to a crash on the Long Island Expressway over the weekend.

SYOSSET, NY — One person was hurt over the weekend in a crash on the Long Island Expressway in Syosset.
The Syosset and Jericho volunteer fire departments were sent to the eastbound lanes of the expressway around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, along with Nassau County police highway patrol units for a crash just west of South Oyster Bay Road, officials said.
The driver of a Honda lost control on the wet pavement and smashed into a guard rail. He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries by Jericho Ambulance 9419. The scene was turned over to the police officers.
