SYOSSET, NY — The Syosset High School girls soccer team refuses to lose, and their national ranking has improved once again.
The unbeaten Syosset High School girls soccer team now rank No. 11 in the country — up one spot — after defeating Farmingdale last week and then Baldwin on Monday.
The Braves, last year's county champions, entered the season unranked in the USA Today/United Soccer Coaches Super 25 preseason poll. But the girls rattled off eight straight wins — including seven straight conference wins — and have outscored their opponents 28-8, notching three shutouts along the way. That includes a 3-0 win over Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK and a 5-0 drubbing over East Meadow.
