New Restaurant To Open In Woodbury

WOODBURY, NY - A new restaurant will be opening up in Woodbury at the location of the former Honing Grill.

Limani, a Greek seafood restaurant, will be opening its second Long Island restaurant on 8289 Jericho Turnpike. The owner is looking to expand Limani after launching the first restaurant in Roslyn in 2008.

However, the restaurant's management team tells Newsday that the new restaurant will be "more casual with a lower price point."

The new restaurant is expected to open in January.

After less than a year in business, Honing Grill announced last month in a short post on its Facebook page that it was closing down.

It is unknown why the local restaurant suddenly shut down.
