Northern State Parkway Crash Leaves 1 Hurt

SYOSSET, NY — A driver was hurt Monday in a crash on the Northern State Parkway. The Syosset Volunteer Fire Department was called around 9 a.m. Monday for the crash on the eastbound lanes of the parkway, near South Oyster Bay Road.

The Jericho Volunteer Fire Department was also alerted for a dual response. Crews found a car against the barrier wall with an injured driver. The car was pulled away from the wall and the driver was taken to a hospital by Jericho Ambulance9419.

The left lane was closed for about a half-hour as crews worked the scene.
