Visitation: Tuesday, Jan 24 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Beney Funeral Home on 79 Berry Hill Road in Syosset.

Service: Wednesday, Jan. 25 starting at 9:45 a.m. at the St. Edward Confessor R.C. Church in Syosset.

Obituary: Earnest W. Schiavone, of Syosset, passed away the day after his birthday on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017. He was 94.

He is survived by his wife, Bettina as well his children Theresa and Thomas.

Interment will take place at the Melville Cemetery in Melville.
