Obituary: ​Joseph J. Herbst, of Syosset, Dies at 93

Died: September 23, 2017

Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Beney Funeral Home on 79 Berry Hill Road in Syosset.

Service: Wednesday, Sept. 27 starting at 10 a.m. at the St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church on 2534 Cedar Swamp Road in Glen Head.

Obituary: Joseph J. Herbst, of Syosset, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 23. He was 93.

He was predeceased in life by his son, Gary.

Herbst is survived by his wife, Ruth (nee Hackert) as well as his children Linda (Bob), Kenneth (Norma), Gregory (Debbie) and Brian (Maureen).

He is also survived by his grandchildren Craig, Justin, Christopher, James, Alex, Caitlin, and Liam as well as his sister Isabella Herbst.

Interment will take place at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.
