Pajama Day at Nursery School in Syosset Gives Back to Kids in Need

Students at M.A.T.S.S. Day Care and Nursery School brought in a pair of new pajamas to give to children in need.

Pajama day at M.A.T.S.S. Day Care and Nursery School in Syosset was more than wearing comfy bedtime clothing on Tuesday.

In addition to wearing pajamas to school, the students also brought in a brand new pair to give to children in need through the Long Island Chapter of the Pajama Program.

Even Legislator Judy Jacobs, who attends this event every year, brought pajamas with her to donate to the cause.

“It was so touching to see these youngsters understand that there are children who do not have what they have, and it was even more moving to see they had the generosity and the empathy to volunteer and help,” Jacobs said in a press release. “What a wonderful lesson in life for them to learn at such a young age.”
