Rollover Crash On Northern State Parkway Closes Lane
Officials say a two-car crash on the parkway caused one vehicle to roll over and smash into a sand barrier.
JERICHO, NY — A two-car crash on the Northern State Parkway caused one vehicle to overturn Wednesday afternoon.
State troopers and the Jericho Volunteer Fire Department rushed to the crash on the westbound lanes of the parkway in Jericho around 1 p.m. Wednesday. The collision happened between South Oyster Bay Road and state Route 106.
One of the vehicles rolled and crashed into a sand barrier, officials said.Everyone involved in the crash refused medical attention. The right lane was closed briefly while crews worker the wreck.
