SterlingRisk's Scott Chirls Inducted into LIBN's "40 Under 40"
Long Island Business News celebrates future leaders of Long Island.

Long Island Business News recently hosted its annual “40 Under 40” ceremony honoring outstanding members of the Long Island business community who are age 40 or younger. Among the honorees at this year’s event was SterlingRisk Chief Information Officer Scott Chirls, who began his career at the Woodbury, NY, insurance brokerage 17 years ago.
“I started as an intern and moved on to System Analyst before being named Chief Information Officer,” Chirls observed. “I’ve always been driven to improve systems and reporting through technology. At SterlingRisk, I’ve found an organization that allows my passion to thrive.”
Chirls’ contributions extend to outfitting SterlingRisk with technology that keeps the brokerage on the leading edge of client service and deliverables. This competitive advantage also supports SterlingRisk retention and recruitment efforts. Projects undertaken by Chirls include guiding his team in managing business processes, automating reporting, and building custom software that helps clients manage risk.
