Swimming Pool Hours Extended At Syosset-Woodbury Community Park

Officials extended the hours at Town of Oyster Bay swimming pools.

WOODBURY, NY — Town of Oyster Bay pools, including Syosset-Woodbury Community Park, are temporarily remaining open a little longer as residents try to beat the heat.

Town pool hours will be extended Monday and Tuesday until 8 p.m. due to high temperatures and humidity, officials said. Pools will open at 11 a.m.

"Today's forecast calls for extreme heat, and we invite our residents to enjoy some fun family time and make the Town pool facilities their backyards away from home," Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino said. "This summer, we've taken action to further ensure the health of our residents by implementing new safety protocols to ensure all who visit our facilities feel safe this summer."
