Syosset Eatery Closes Its Doors After 30 Years

The restaurant offered patrons Italian specials and homemade desserts in a cozy setting.

SYOSSET, NY — A longtime Syosset eatery has shuttered its doors. After opening three decades ago, Rachel's Cafe on Berry Hill Road announced in a Facebook post Friday it was closing the location.

"Thank you so much for 30 delicious years together," the restaurant said. "We have been honored to be a part of your families and you a part of ours."

Rachel's offered patrons Italian specials and homemade desserts in a cozy setting. Owners encouraged patrons to visit their Fire Island location, which will remain open during the summer months.
