Good Grief! Syosset Students Take the Stage for 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown'

Syosset students took center stage at H.B. Thompson Middle School to put on a performance of “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.”

Students who participated in Syosset’s Summer Stock theater program performed in front of friends and family at two separate shows on Aug. 5-6.

Leading characters in the Peanuts-inspired musical included:

• Hunter Cohen (Charlie Brown)
• Danielle Nodelman (Snoopy)
• Ria Chadha (Schroeder)
• Margherita Napoleone (Lucy)
• Matthew Wong (Linus)
• Victoria Graceffa (Sally)
• Gianna Magrino/Melanie Sena (Woodstock)

“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” follows Charlie through his day as he attempts to explore what it means to be a good man.

Students spent the summer break rehearsing the performance, which was directed by Dina Bloomfield and Maria Cammarano.

The Summer Stock programs allows students of various grade levels to put on a show before the new school year.
