Syosset Synagogue Donates 250 Meals On Thanksgiving Day: Report
Volunteer congregants packed and delivered carved turkeys, mashed potatoes, cooked stuffing and more to homes, soup kitchens and shelters.
SYOSSET, NY — A Syosset synagogue donated 250 meals to people in need on Thanksgiving, according to a report. Nearly 100 congregants from North Shore Synagogue formed an assembly line to carve up turkeys, mash potatoes, cook stuffing and more. The food was then packed and delivered to homes, soup kitchens and shelters across Long Island, the synagogue told the Syosset Jericho Tribune.
