Tell Us: Is this a Biased Crime?

A Patch reader recently told us that the baby Jesus was stolen from the creche in her front yard on Harriet Drive in Syosset. She reported the incident to police and was told it did not constitute a biased crime. 

Nothing else was removed from the display. 

"I cannot believe that someone would be so disrespectful," she wrote. "It certainly was a way to take CHRIST out of Christmas."
