Where To Find A Christmas Tree In 2020 Near Syosset

Many local Christmas tree farmers are taking precautions amid the pandemic to ensure you and your family have a happy holiday.

Syosset, NY — As the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic threatens a long list of 2020’s quintessential holiday traditions, it may still be possible to take your family on a hunt for the perfect Christmas tree — and most importantly, do it safely.

At least 25 million real Christmas trees are purchased each year across America, and currently, 350 million are growing in all 50 U.S. states. During this unprecedented year, Christmas tree lots and choose-and-cut farms nationwide are taking precautions as COVID-19 cases rise to ensure shoppers can select their favorite tree with minimal health and safety risk.

In fact, the National Christmas Tree Association has created a special guide containing recommendations and best practices for Christmas tree providers to follow, including frequently sanitizing items and areas such as hand saws, tree cart handles, countertops, door handles and restrooms. Special signage and touchless, paperless payment systems are also being encouraged.
