As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) is partnering with the Woodbury Jewish Center to host a food drive for Island Harvest on Tuesday, Nov. 17. To more effectively address a drastic increase in food insecurity across Long Island amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and maximize the positive impact of this collection, donors are encouraged to contribute healthy, non-perishable food items.
