Anti-Semitic Graffiti Found At Setauket School Playground: Police

The symbols and words were found carved into the school's playground equipment on Sunday afternoon, police say.

EAST SETAUKET, NY — Anti-Semitic symbols and words were found carved into playground equipment at Setauket Elementary School earlier in the week, Suffolk police said.

Police were called to the school around noon Sunday. Officers do not believe the anti-Semitic carvings were aimed at a specific person. Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit detectives are investigating the incident.

An arrest has not been made yet.

The graffiti was carved into the playground slides and has since been removed, Newsday reported.
