Bluegrass in Beautiful Historic Setting

The Stony Brook Chamber Ensemble hosting a bluegrass concert in the historic 1892 section of Emma Clark Library.

On Sundays April 24, May 22, and June 26 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., the Stony Brook Chamber Ensemble will be presenting performances at Emma Clark Library in the beautiful setting of the original 1892 library. The public is invited to stroll in, relax and listen to the music while taking in the gorgeous historic scenery (and perhaps even read their favorite novel).

There is no need to register, and anyone – resident or nonresident – is welcome to enjoy the program.

For the third performance of the series on June 26, Alison Rowe (cello/voice) and Taylor Ackley (voice/banjo/mandolin/guitar) will perform traditional and bluegrass.
