Chamber Music Live at Historic Emma Clark Library
The Stony Brook Chamber Ensemble will be playing in the historic 1892 section of the Library.

On Sundays April 24, May 22, and June 26 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., the Stony Brook Chamber Ensemble will be presenting performances here at Emma Clark Library in the beautiful setting of the original 1892 library. The public is invited to stroll in, relax and listen to the music while taking in the gorgeous historic scenery (and perhaps even read their favorite novel).
There is no need to register, and anyone – resident or nonresident – is welcome to enjoy the program.
For the second performance of the series on May 22, the founder of the non-profit Stony Brook Chamber Ensemble, Anne Sophie Andersen, and director, Natalie Kress, will come together to perform duos and solos for violin and viola. They will perform works by Mozart, Leclair, Bach, and Ysaye spanning different eras and styles of string playing.
