The National Weather Service has issued hazardous weather outlook for Long Island as a strong frontal system will impact the area on Tuesday.
"There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather meeting NWS warning criteria Tuesday afternoon, as an approaching cold front triggers a few thunderstorms," hazardous weather outlook says. "The strongest storms could produce brief strong winds and hail."
A frost advisory will also be in effect from 10 p.m. Monday until 8 a.m. Tuesday on the East End.
