
LONG ISLAND, NY – The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Long Island as more snow is headed our way.
The storm watch will be in effect from 4 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday.
A total of 6-8 inches of snow is likely during the fast-moving storm. Unlike previous storms, this one is expected deliver about the same amount of snow across the island.

Travel could be very difficult Sunday as snow falls at a rate of an inch an hour, the weather service says.
Another storm system could impact the region on Tuesday.

"This could be all snow, it could be a mix, it could be a lot of rain, it all depends on the exact track which is unknown at this time," the NWS said of the Tuesday storm.

Friday Night- Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 29. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Light and variable wind becoming west 6 to 11 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.
Saturday- Sunny, with a high near 40. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. West wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
Saturday Night- A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after 3am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 27. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. West wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm.
Sunday- Snow likely, mainly between 7am and 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 34. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. East wind 10 to 17 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.
Sunday Night- A chance of flurries before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 19. Northwest wind 10 to 13 mph.
Monday- Sunny, with a high near 30.
Monday Night- Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21.
Tuesday- A chance of rain and snow. Cloudy, with a high near 41. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
