Human Remains Found Behind Centereach Home: Police
Skeletal remains were found behind the home Sunday evening, police say.
CENTEREACH, NY — Human remains were found behind a Centereach home Sunday evening, the Suffolk County Police Department said.
A 911 caller reported skeletal remains were found behind a Jay Road home, and police arrived a few minutes before 5:30 p.m. The remains were taken to be examined at the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
Detectives ask anyone with information to contact the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.
