LI Native Denied Ending Probation In False Rape Case: Report
Nikki Yovino, 22, pleaded guilty to making false rape accusations against two Sacred Heart University football players.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A South Setauket woman convicted of falsely accusing two Sacred Heart University football players of raping her in 2016 had her request to cut her probation in half denied by a judge in Bridgeport, according to a report.
Nikki Yovino, 22, pleaded guilty in August 2018 to two counts of second-degree falsely reporting an incident and one count of interfering with police. She was sentenced to three years in prison, suspended after a year and followed by probation for three years.
Yovino is a year and four months into probation. She wanted to go home to Long Island and has been staying with relatives in Ridgefield, Connecticut, during her probation, The Connecticut Post reported Wednesday.
