Man Burglarizes Centereach Tobacco Shop: Police

Cigarettes and cash were stolen, and a man is wanted for burglary, police say. Have you seen him?

CENTEREACH, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police say burglarized a Centereach tobacco shop in January.

A man stole cigarettes and cash from Barcode Smoke Shop, at 115 Mark Tree Road, around 2:40 a.m. Jan. 25, police said. Police announced the burglary Thursday.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
