Man Who Robbed 2 Suffolk Banks Charged: Police
The man robbed two banks on March 17 and April 10, police say. He was arrested Friday.

MEDFORD, NY — A Medford man was arrested Friday after Suffolk police say he robbed two banks within the county over the past month.
Chris Nilsen, 61, robbed People’s United Bank at 1919 Middle Country Road, Centereach, on March 17, police said. He also robbed M&T Bank, at 640 Johnson Ave., Bohemia, on April 10, police said.
Nilsen was charged with third-degree robbery. He was scheduled to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip after being held overnight at the Sixth Precinct.
