New Exhibit Coming To Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook Gallery

STONY BROOK, NY — The Holiday Inn Express-Stony Brook’s Art Gallery will be hosting an outdoor, socially-distant art reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 19, according to a news release. The latest art exhibit, titled "Horizons," will be unveiled, which features 27 original works by local artists from the North Shore Art Guild

Exhibits rotate throughout the year, with each new display accompanied by a wine and cheese showcase reception for the artists. The public is welcome to attend the free outdoor showcase reception or to just stop in to view the artwork. All artwork is available for purchase, with 25 percent of proceeds going to the Stony Brook Children's Hospital.

"We have such a wealth of artistic talent in this area and we are so pleased to give artists a place
to showcase it and share with the public," said John Tsunis, managing member of the Holiday
Inn Express-Stony Brook. "I extend an invitation to everyone who lives in the area, or who might
just be passing by, to stop in and take a look."

The Holiday Inn Express follows enhanced cleaning procedures and protocols based on local
authorities’ guidance and/or advice.

The Holiday Inn Express-Stony Brook is located at 3131 Nesconset Highway, Stony Brook.
The newly-renovated hotel is less than one mile from Stony Brook University and Stony Brook School of Medicine.
