Senator John Flanagan of the second Senate District recently read to young children who participated in Stony Brook University’s Freedom School’s summer enrichment program.

Senator Flanagan was invited by Dr. Charles Robbins, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Dean of the Undergraduate Colleges.

“I would like to thank Dr. Robbins and his staff for inviting me to visit and the children for allowing me to spend a part of their day with them,” Flanagan said. “This is a wonderful program that will benefit these students for years to come and it was truly my pleasure to join them.”
