Setauket Resident Joins Farmingdale State College as Lecturer of Law of Business Management

Mary Catherine Clifford, a resident of Setauket, has joined the faculty of Farmingdale State College as a Lecturer of Business Law in the Department of Business Management.

Professor Clifford began teaching at Farmingdale’s School of Business in 2012, first as an adjunct instructor and then as visiting assistant professor. She was also an adjunct at the University of Colorado at Denver. Her educational background includes a JD from the New England School of Law and a BS in Health Services Administration from Providence College, Rhode Island.

She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association. Her areas of research include the impact of constitutional law in business. She presented a paper at the Northeast Business and Economics Association’s 42 Annual Conference entitled “Going to Pot - Operating a Marijuana Business and Navigating the Law is No Easy Task in Colorado.”
