Seventh Annual BENCH 5K run/walk to benefit Play Fit - Stay Fit!
A Fun Run and 5K in Stony Brook to benefit Play Fit-Stay Fit!, a wellness program for pediatric survivors of cancer and their families.
The Seventh Annual Bench 5K run/walk to benefit Play Fit - Stay Fit! will take place on Saturday, May 9. A fun run starts at 8:45 AM and the 5K starts at 9:30 AM. This is a great event... a great, scenic course through historic Stony Brook, great race shirts and drawstring back packs by New Balance, free digital photo from Jack McCoy Photography for all 5K and fun run participants, great post-run party with live entertainment and free food and beverages provided by The BENCH, Michelob Ultra & Long Ireland Brewery... all for a great cause!!! Award divisions for this year include SBUMC/SBU employee, cancer survivor, clydesdale, athena, and wheelchair. Registration before May 5th is $25 and day of race is $30.
